Intel announced “3-series” chipsets, these chipsets are expected to be the fastest chips in Intel’s history, and 100 motherboard designs planned, also these chipsets supports up to six external drives, and Intel’s 7.1 High Definition Audio.
A new power management capability comes with these chipsets “Quiet System Technology”, also PCI Express 2.0
and DDR-3 memory (DDR 1066 MHz) are supported.
